On July 19, 2024 representatives from the Indonesian President's Cabinet Office had gathered alongside officials from Indonesia's Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), and other esteemed organizations for a pivotal evaluation. Among the myriad projects compete for the coveted Technological Innovation Award, the Indonesian Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF) project had emerged as a frontrunner. Managed by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, this initiative promised revolutionary advancements in transportation infrastructure development.
In the morning plenary session, the PUBER’s Secretary of State for Infrastructure Financing took center stage, delivering a compelling presentation share to the Governor of Bali, the CEO of Jasa Marga, Korlantas representatives, and senior management from Roatex Indonesia Toll System.
RITS as the MLFF project implementor, contributed to the showcase of the technology, by orchestrating an on-site demonstration at the toll gate. With precision and expertise, the team revealed the seamless integration and efficiency in traffic management systems. Test rounds were executed flawlessly, and every scenario presented ran well.
The MLFF project team present took the liberty to invite the Cabinet Office delegates for a test tour. The journey over the highway, shared the firsthand transformative capabilities of the MLFF project. MLFF future implementation has been delved into the societal benefits of such innovations — reduced congestion, enhanced safety measures, and a greener footprint for future generations. The synergy between governmental agencies, private enterprises, and technological pioneers was palpable, fostering an atmosphere of optimism and progress.
If PUPR's project emerged victorious, the accolades would not only honor the efforts of state employees but also validate Indonesia's commitment to leading the charge in technological advancement.
